Local Dining and Lodging in the Malta/McConnelsville/Stockport Area

The Urban Spoon lists their top ten restaurants in the area; my top favorites are:

1) The Blue Belle Diner, 2 W Main St in McConnelsville;

2) The Chatterbox, 35 S Kennebec Ave in McConnelsville;

3) Domino’s Pizza, 44 N Kennebec Ave in McConnelsville (way better than Pirate’s which does deliver to more distant locations);

4) Subway on 3766 E State Route 60 NE, north of McConnelsville;

5) Jo-Ad [Jonas and Ada Yoder] Specialty Market''s Cafe, 83 E Main Street in McConnelsville (good deli sandwiches and fresh salads weekdays and great home-made pies on Friday and Saturdays);

6) Boondocks BBQ and Grill, (featured in "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives") on E State Route 60 north of McConnelsville; and

7) C-J's Restaurant, 1920 Main Street, Stockport (excellent value for the money).

As for places to stay, unfortunately I can't personally recommend any place I have stayed such as the Stockport Mill Inn B&B, so you might check those places listed on The Ohio Outback Independent Lodging Association of Southeastern Ohio
